Did you know?

The first Varsity match goal was scored by Robert Vidal of Oxford. One of eight forwards, he dribbled the length of the pitch before shooting into the top corner. Vidal played in the first three FA Cup finals and is the only player ever to score a hat-trick without anybody else touching the ball.
